Can anyone advise me in repairing a leather tear in a Chesterfield style sofa?

The leather is worn to a tear in one of the folds which occur at the tufts. It is barely noticable as the flaw is right on the fold itself. It has occured to me simply to glue the faces back to back. This will not address the tear but will immobilise the two leather faces thus preventing further damage. Can anyone advise me in repairing a leather tear in a Chesterfield style sofa?
This would be quite tricky to tackle. You would need to use a special flexible leather glue otherwise yu will ruin the leather. It also depends where the tear is as if it is in a high wear area you will be lucky to get a good repair.

If you are in the UK LTT have trained technicians throughout the country who may be able to help
