cemap applies to mortgages only. you can advise on non regulated products such as bank accounts and loans and credit cards without being qualified. to advise on regulated products eg pensions you need to be qualified to do so and this usually requires cefa qualification. the fsa decides what qualifications are required to advise on certain products and the banks follow tese guides when training staffTo advise customers of financial products at Barclays/Natwest, do I need a CeMap qualification?
